Finish earrings: ear wires

Add a top loop and ear wires to brick stitch drops.

Steps

1. Make a pair. Work the second earring from the same chart and hold them side by side to compare.
2. Add a top loop. From the top row, pick up five beads, pass back through the row and reinforce the loop twice.
3. Open the ear wire. Twist the loop sideways with two pliers. Never pull it apart, as that weakens the wire.
4. Attach and close. Slide the bead loop on and twist the ear wire closed until the gap has gone.
5. Tie off. Weave both thread ends through a few rows, tie a small knot between beads and trim.
